Outreach & Event Coordinator – Veterans Programs

About Us

Perseverance Productions is a mission-driven production company founded by Jake Rademacher to tell stories that move the heart and connect people to the men and women who serve. Utilizing the award-winning documentaries Brothers at War and Brothers After War, Perseverance Productions has grown to produce Resiliency Workshops and Seminars around the country for more than 40,000 Service Members, Veterans, and their family members. The films and workshops have made a compelling and profound impact on their audiences, opening avenues of communication within military families, saving marriages, and saving lives.

We are passionate about helping Service Members and Veterans overcome the struggles of military life, navigate transition, and experience post-traumatic growth. We are curious about the triumph of the human spirit, and our culture is rooted in collaboration and community.

In partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, Perseverance Productions is seeking an Outreach & Event Coordinator to help us bring Brothers After War Seminars and Resiliency Workshops to communities across the country.

This position is a unique combination of people, travel, outreach, and live events. When you're in the office, you'll connect with Veteran organizations, military units, and other partners to let them know about upcoming free events for Veterans and their families and help get the word into the community. On the road, you'll travel with our team, coordinate event logistics, set up microphones and basic audio equipment, and work with theater staff to ensure a great event.

We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, organized, dependable, service-oriented, and eager to learn and grow. This position combines community outreach, event coordination, and on-the-ground event support.

A Veteran, current member of the National Guard or Reserve, military spouse, or someone with a connection to the military community could be an especially good fit, but military experience is not required.

Team player. In a small team, everyone helps. You may be talking with a senior military leader one moment and carrying equipment into a theater the next.
Fun to work and travel with. We spend a meaningful amount of time together—at events, on airplanes, in rental cars, and over meals.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Comfortable using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office and learning basic audio/visual equipment.
Willing and able to travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight travel and some weekends.
Ability to lift, carry, load, and move event equipment and boxes weighing up to 65 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Valid driver's license and comfort driving rental vehicles while traveling.
Able to work regularly from our Playa del Rey, California office when not traveling.

Helpful, But Not Required

Experience in community outreach, events, hospitality, nonprofits, production, or the military/Veteran community is a plus. Veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, and members of military families are encouraged to apply.
