Description

Medical Staff Coordinator at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is a Full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

The Medical Staff Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support to Medical/Professional Staff functions and as a key resource for the medical staff leadership. The coordinator may be required to assist with elements of the credentialing process, initial and reappointment, expirable and proctoring as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Within 5 years of hire Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist - National Association Medical Staff Services (Facility Managed) Or
Within 5 years of hire Certified Professional Medical Services Management - National Association Medical Staff Services (Facility Managed).
Experience in coordinating meetings, and events.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training Some college. Or
Bachelor's Degree.
3 years Recent experience as a Medical Staff Coordinator or similar experience.
