Full Job Description

PLEASE READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING!!

Experienced Manual Machinist needed for our growing job shop located in a modern, clean, heated & cooled, facility in Plainville, CT.

Must have a Minimum of 2-year hands on experience in the metal working industry and proficient in using equipment such as Bridgeport knee mills, Prototrak mills/ lathes, surface grinding and OD ID grinding equipment.

Must be proficient in blueprint reading and use of measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers gage blocks, bore gages, etc.

Some experience with welding would be a plus.

Experience/Qualifications: At least 2 year minimum hands-on. We are willing to help you develop your skills, but you need to have demonstrated manual machining experience.

Education Certification: High school Diploma or GED Qualification

Other: 1st Shift. Monday - Friday. Paid vacation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour.
