Crew Lead – Residential Plumbing

Jenkins Plumbing is looking for an experienced and motivated Crew Lead to join our Townsend, GA branch. This leadership position is responsible for supervising plumbing crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining job site safety, and delivering outstanding customer service on residential construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead plumbing crews on residential construction projects.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with applicable building and plumbing codes.
- Plan daily work assignments and coordinate crew schedules.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met.
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Order materials and manage inventory to keep projects running efficiently.
- Communicate project updates with customers, contractors, and company management.
- Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and junior plumbers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and job records.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure crews follow all OSHA and company safety standards.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Assist with additional field responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous residential plumbing experience required.
- Prior experience leading or supervising plumbing crews preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, installation methods, and plumbing codes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
