Job Title: Senior Document Review Attorney

Location: Towson, MD

Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)

Compensation: $140,000.00 -$200,000.00

We're seeking a senior legal professional who thrives on detailed document review, research, and system-building - not courtroom drama or client billing. At Stouffer Legal, your role ensures that every will, trust, and estate plan we deliver is flawless, legally compliant, and up-to-date with Maryland and federal law. In this role, you will not be drafting trusts day-to-day, but rather applying your technical expertise to review, refine, and enhance our legal documents and processes. Qualifications

Active licensed attorney
Minimum of 10 years' experience in Estate Planning and Estate Administration
Highly experienced in estate plan drafting, with strong knowledge of best practices
Comfortable reviewing and refining complex legal documents prepared by others
Experience with Irrevocable Trusts is a plus
Embraces technology to enhance legal accuracy and workflow efficiency
Detail-oriented, systems-minded, and passionate about getting things right the first time
Strong research skills with a genuine enjoyment of technical legal work

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough legal research and provide clear, actionable guidance on technical legal questions
Review and quality-check estate planning documents prepared by our drafting team and attorneys
Maintain and enhance our legal infrastructure as we expand our service lines
Draft legal opinion letters and guidance memos
Collaborate closely with attorneys and the drafting team to ensure consistency and accuracy across all legal documents
Use modern legal tools and resources to enhance accuracy, streamline processes, and support compliance workflows
