StretchLab Columbia Flexologist (Stretch Practitioner)

You’re as skilled at reading people as you are reading bodies — creating a safe, supportive experience that helps clients relax, trust, and stay consistent with their care.
Delivering personalized one-on-one assisted stretching through a balance of intuitive body awareness, technical skill, empathy, and a natural ability to connect and relate to others.
You understand that people don’t just come to be stretched — they come to feel seen, supported, and cared for.

You might be a:
- Exercise science, kinesiology, or sports medicine graduate.
- Dance or dance movement graduate with years of training and deep intuitive body awareness.
- Strength & conditioning coach, athletic trainer, or personal trainer.
- Physical therapy aide or assistant.
- Massage therapist interested in PNF-based assisted stretching (not massage).
- Yoga or Pilates instructor with a strong foundation in anatomy and movement.

You have:
- Experience working directly with clients in fitness, wellness, or movement-based roles.
- Strong intuitive and/or technical understanding of the human body, including anatomy, biomechanics, and movement.
- Comfort working hands-on with a wide range of bodies and abilities.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to explain which muscles are being stretched, why they matter, and how different muscle groups connect and affect one another.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to connect easily and authentically with clients.
- Deep knowledge paired with a beginner’s mind — curious, coachable, and genuinely eager to keep learning and growing.
- Reliability, professionalism, and respect for systems, standards, and team dynamics.

You’re ready to:
- Deliver personalized one-on-one assisted stretch sessions using StretchLab’s proprietary methods.
- Help clients improve mobility, flexibility, recovery, and overall movement quality.
- Educate clients on their bodies and progress with care, clarity, and confidence.
- Show clients simple stretches and send follow-up resources they can do from home between sessions to further their progress.
- Complete session documentation and SOAP notes accurately and on time.
- Support studio flow, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout your shifts.
- Contribute to keeping your schedule full by assisting with phone calls, follow-ups, and help with administrative or sales-related tasks when not booked.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and ongoing skill development.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality one-on-one assisted stretch sessions consistently.
- Build trust and rapport with members through confident competence, professionalism, and care.
- Support first-time client experiences through introductory stretch assessments that deliver real physical value while educating clients on our stretch method and long-term benefits to support conversion into ongoing care.
- Collaborate closely with Front Desk Wellness Advisors to support member retention, new member conversion, and overall studio success.
- Uphold studio standards related to safety, documentation, and cleanliness.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay, paid hourly and equivalent to:
$50,000 – $60,000 annually for full-time roles
$25,000 – $60,000 annually for part-time roles (minimum 20 hours/week)
