Measurement Technician – Windows, Roofing, Doors & Siding

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Measurement Technician to join our team at Revive Exteriors. This position is responsible for visiting customers’ homes and accurately measuring windows, doors, roofing, and siding for upcoming installation projects.
The Measurement Technician plays an important role in making sure every project is properly prepared before materials are ordered and installation begins. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, interacting professionally with homeowners, using ladders and measurement tools, and documenting job-site conditions accurately.
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential job sites to complete final project measurements.
- Accurately measure windows, exterior doors, roofing, and siding.
- Verify product sizes, quantities, openings, elevations, and installation requirements.
- Identify potential installation challenges or unusual job-site conditions.
- Take clear photos and document measurements and project details.
- Review project information and confirm that the proposed scope matches existing conditions.
- Communicate discrepancies or concerns to the appropriate sales, production, or installation team members.
- Maintain organized and accurate measurement records.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners while on site.
- Safely use ladders and other measurement equipment.
- Manage a daily schedule of measurement appointments and complete assignments on time.
- Follow company safety procedures and measurement standards.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using tape measures, laser measuring devices, ladders, tablets, and smartphones.
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic construction-related calculations.
- Comfortable working outdoors and around residential construction.
- Ability to climb ladders and safely inspect roofs and exterior elevations.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Previous experience in windows, doors, roofing, siding, remodeling, construction, installation, estimating, or field measuring is preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position regularly involves standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, working outdoors, and accessing different areas of residential properties. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions while following all required safety procedures.
