The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, “To serve our community and build trusted relationships.” A key component of this service is to identify members’ needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions, which ultimately helps grow the credit union. To adequately and effectively serve members and TBACU’s staff by providing prompt and accurate financial data and maintaining financial security.
The Digital Communications Specialist plays an important role in advancing TBACU’s brand, member engagement, and growth through effective digital communication. This position develops and manages content across key marketing channels, including the website, social media, email, digital advertising, video, online banking/mobile app messaging, and select print materials. The role uses analytics, audience insights, and digital best practices to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements that strengthen TBACU’s visibility and connection with members and the community. As a digital marketing resource, this position supports the Marketing Director with campaign execution, content strategy, channel optimization, and the continued evolution of TBACU’s digital presence.

Support the full lifecycle of digital campaigns, including planning, content development, launch coordination, performance tracking, and post-campaign recommendations in partnership with the Marketing Director.

Manage and monitor social media activity and digital engagement, identifying opportunities to improve reach, strengthen connection, respond or escalate as appropriate, and support a consistent brand voice.

Track, analyze, and summarize digital performance metrics, using audience insights and channel data to evaluate effectiveness, tailor messaging, and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with leadership team to increase TBACU’s visibility online.

Maintain and improve digital communication platforms and tools, including website content, digital channel updates, troubleshooting, search visibility, user experience, and recommended enhancements.

Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging tools, and responsible use of technology to improve efficiency, creativity, and communication effectiveness.

Manage assigned marketing projects by coordinating timelines, deliverables, communication, and follow-through.

Ability to clear security screening for area schools to be onsite with students.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance metrics, providing timely summaries and recommendations to support marketing decisions.

Produce and edit video content for appropriate marketing and communication channels, including website, social media, email, and event-related needs.

Support marketing and communication needs for Credit Union events, community giving initiatives, workshops, webinars, and other outreach activities.

Support product and service promotion by gathering marketing insights, identifying communication opportunities, and recommending enhancements based on member needs or campaign performance.

Support digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, digital advertising, landing pages, forms, and other campaign-related assets.

Assist with the design, writing, proofreading, and production coordination of print marketing materials.

Write, edit, and proofread marketing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, brand alignment, compliance, and high-quality grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Coordinate Classroom Grant selection committees, communications, documentation, and related activities.

Provide support for Marketing Department projects and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

Proficiency in video editing software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in marketing or communications, or an equivalent combination of experience and work history, is required.

Minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience, required.

Proven website management experience, required.

Prior experience with web content management and social media platforms, required.

Financial service experience, preferred.
