Full Job Description

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Senior Project Coordinator (Oncology) to join our pharmaceutical client in Lawrence Township, NJ. This is a 6-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $31.00 - $36.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Description:
The Medical organization strives to be recognized globally as a leading and highly respected biopharmaceutical medical organization. Within Medical Affairs, you will have the opportunity to help impact patient outcomes by supporting the development and appropriate use of innovative medicines. The Medical function plays a valuable role in maximizing the potential of scientific and medical innovation, bridging clinical development with clinical practice while expanding understanding of the broader healthcare landscape.

This position reports to the Vice President, Portfolio & Alliance Strategy (Client), and is a key member of the Global Medical Oncology team. The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Coordinator is to support the execution of deliverables across Client, with a focus on the following areas:

Administrative and Operational Support
Contract and Budget Coordination Support (as needed)
Project Coordination and Support

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative and Operational Support

Provide administrative support to the Client team for day-to-day operations and project-related activities as needed.
Manage calendars and coordinate meeting scheduling.
Prepare meeting minutes and track action items to ensure timely follow-up.
Coordinate and organize on-site and off-site Client team meetings, including agenda development and logistics.
Collaborate with Human Resources to support recruitment activities, including candidate communications and interview scheduling.

Contract and Budget Coordination Support

Support Client team members in coordinating and finalizing project expenditures, purchase order creation, invoice processing, and related financial activities.

Project Coordination and Support

Assist with Client initiatives, which may include alliance management, portfolio strategy, biomarker initiatives, and clinical guidelines/pathways projects, including project documentation and stakeholder communications.
Manage and maintain Client SharePoint sites and related resources.
Coordinate agency and consultancy engagements as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical research, development, or commercialization; a scientific background is strongly preferred.
Experience in oncology.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and strong follow-through on deliverables.
Experience supporting large, cross-functional, and interdisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional organizations.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced business environment.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Must Haves:

A Bachelor's science degree or relevant experience in pharmaceutical research, development, or commercialization (science background strongly recommended)
Oncology experience
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Advanced computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Project management skills, i.e. effectively manage multiple priorities
