Full Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Grants Coordinator

REPORTS TO: President and CEO

STATUS: Part-time, Exempt

LOCATION: In-Person

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, communications, finance, or a related field required. At least five years of experience in grant administration, grant writing, program coordination, or nonprofit management preferred. Experience working with federally funded programs and familiarity with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and Section 330-funded health centers (FQHCs) preferred.

SKILLS: Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills required. The Grants Coordinator should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience developing grant applications, tracking grant deliverables, monitoring budgets, and preparing reports is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and reporting systems required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff, member health centers, funding agencies, and community partners. Knowledge of nonprofit funding mechanisms and grant compliance requirements is preferred.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Research, identify, and disseminate federal, state, foundation, and private funding opportunities that align with NJPCA's mission and strategic priorities.
Coordinate the development, preparation, and submission of grant proposals, applications, letters of intent, and supporting documentation.
Monitor grant activities and ensure compliance with funder requirements, timelines, reporting obligations, and deliverables.
Maintain calendars and tracking systems to ensure timely submission of grant applications, reports, and other required documentation.
Collect, compile, analyze, and report programmatic and performance data required by grant funders and organizational leadership.
Work closely with finance staff to track grant expenditures, monitor budgets, and assist with financial reporting requirements.
Coordinate meetings, trainings, webinars, and events associated with grant-funded programs and initiatives.
Serve as a liaison with funding agencies, community partners, member health centers, and other stakeholders regarding grant activities.
Maintain organized grant files, records, and supporting documentation for audits, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews.
Assist with program evaluation activities, outcomes measurement, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials related to grant-funded initiatives.
Support implementation of grant-funded workforce, clinical quality, health equity, and special project initiatives.
Provide updates to the NJPCA website and other communication platforms regarding grant-funded programs and funding opportunities.
Must be able to periodically travel to and attend off-site meetings, trainings, conferences, and events.
Carry out other roles and responsibilities as assigned by the President/CEO.

Hours: 21 hours per week. The days of the week will be determined by the President and CEO

Salary: $55,000 annually

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
