Front Desk Attendant

CBRC Health & Fitness is seeking friendly, dependable, and service-focused Front Desk Attendants to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment, and take pride in making others feel welcome and cared for, this could be a great fit for you.

At CBRC, our core purpose is building a community and inspiring healthier lives. As one of the first and last people our members see during each visit, our Front Desk team plays an important role in bringing that purpose to life.

The Role

The Front Desk Attendant is at the center of the CBRC member experience. You’ll welcome members and guests, answer questions, assist with reservations and registrations, process transactions, and help people navigate everything CBRC has to offer.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused position that requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a warm and professional approach.

Great Front Desk Attendants don’t just complete transactions—they learn names, build relationships, solve problems, and help make CBRC a place where people feel like they belong.

Key Responsibilities

Greet members and guests warmly and professionally as they enter and leave the club.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service in person and over the phone.
Process member and guest check-ins accurately.
Answer and manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately.
Respond to member questions and help connect members with the appropriate department or team member.
Schedule tennis courts, massage appointments, club spaces, and other reservations.
Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and responsibly.
Assist members with program registrations and provide information about CBRC programs, services, classes, and upcoming events.
Help promote club programs and opportunities that may benefit members.
Monitor member accounts and communicate account questions or concerns appropriately.
Direct members and guests throughout the facility and help them navigate club services.
Address member questions and concerns with professionalism, patience, and care.
Assist with daily operational responsibilities, including basic audits, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming Front Desk environment.
Follow established club policies, procedures, and confidentiality expectations.
Support emergency procedures and follow the direction of the Manager on Duty when necessary.
Attend required team meetings and participate in ongoing training.
Work collaboratively with departments throughout CBRC to provide a consistent and exceptional member experience.

The ideal Front Desk Attendant is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people. You can manage a ringing phone, a member checking in, a reservation request, and a question at the desk without losing your attention to detail or your welcoming attitude.

You understand that even a brief interaction can shape someone’s experience at CBRC, and you take pride in providing service that is friendly, accurate, and professional.

A willingness to learn about CBRC’s programs, services, and amenities so you can confidently assist our members.

Compensation

Pay range: $17.13–$18.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
