JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Agronomy, the Horticulturalist Superintendent is responsible for directing and participating in the daily maintenance of the clubhouse, cottages, owners’ homes and common areas. This position is responsible for the day-to-day fertilizer and chemical programs/applications as well as assigning and directing all Landscaping employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee all landscape, horticultural, irrigation, and maintenance operations for the club and owners’ homes.
- Develop annual and seasonal horticultural plans, including flower rotations, plant pruning, plant selection, enhancement projects, and long-range landscape strategies.
- Establish service standards, operational procedures, and quality benchmarks to ensure consistent presentation across all grounds.
- Manage annual Operating and Capital budgets, including forecasting, resource planning, and cost control.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute daily maintenance activities, installations, renovations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Oversee mowing, bed maintenance, planting, irrigation troubleshooting and repair, pest and disease management, fertilization, and pesticide applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation, operational activities, chemical applications, and maintenance records.
- Inspect landscaped areas, facilities, equipment, and irrigation systems to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

· Salary - $90-120,000
