Our Opportunity:

BridgeWise Financial Partners is a growing college planning and wealth management firm seeking an experienced, client-focused operations and client service professional to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional client service, and being an integral part of a collaborative advisory team.

We're looking for someone who has meaningful experience (5+ years) as a Client Service Associate, operations director, or similar role, within a financial advisory firm. Experience working with Schwab Advisor Center, client account servicing, new account paperwork, insurance applications, transfers, money movement, and financial industry processes is highly valued. While every firm has its own way of serving clients, we're looking for someone who can bring their existing knowledge and quickly learn the BridgeWise systems, processes, and client-first philosophy.

As a Director of Operations, you'll serve as one of the primary points of contact for clients and proactively resolve questions, while streamlining processes within our operations. You'll help coordinate meetings, new client onboarding, identify and fix process issues, maintain and improve CRM systems, coordinate with Schwab, and ensure every client interaction reflects the high level of care and professionalism our clients have come to expect. You'll also support our marketing for college planning and financial events, while helping deliver a seamless experience from a family's first interaction with BridgeWise through every stage of their financial journey.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Ownership of role, autonomy to implement improvements, with support from senior leadership
Mastering and improving operational workflows and standard operating procedures
Develop and track KPIs and process metrics
Lead team projects from start to finish
Process financial transactions such as contributions, distributions, premiums, transfers, rollovers, and account maintenance requests
Deliver above-and-beyond service to clients, families, and partners
Professional email, written and phone correspondence on behalf of the company
Manage CRM follow-up, integrations, database updates, and appointment reminders
Ensure daily office operations run smoothly
Manage relationships with Schwab, vendors, insurance carriers and other external partners.
Own client onboarding processes, documentation, and follow through to completion.
Organize and process client documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Candidates Will Have:

5-10+ years experience in financial services, investments, tax, or insurance industries.
Knowledge of CRM systems and leveraging workflows (preferred).

Competencies to Advance Within Role:

Level 1 – Associate Director of Operations:

Mastery of all internal operational workflows and SOPs
Mastery of marketing operations and campaign execution processes (not creative)
Ability to lead team projects from start to finish
Develop and track operational KPIs and process metrics

Level 2 – Director of Operations:

Vendor management and contract oversight
Budgeting, commission tracking, and financial reporting
Supervise, coach, and develop administrative team
Identify and implement firm-wide process improvements

Level 3 – Senior Director of Operations:

Use operational data and KPIs to drive business decisions
Lead firm-wide operational strategy and execution
Coordinate cross-department initiatives and resource planning
Prepare the firm and team for continued growth and scaling
