Position Overview:
Under the direction and supervision of the Regional Administrator, the Clinic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the processing of patient payments, preparation of certain patient and insurance billing, purchase orders, and/or documentation for financial disbursement and reimbursements. The Clinic Coordinator assures accurate and timely preparation of reports. Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner and that Clinic Operations are running efficiently.
What You Will Do:

Maintain a high level of confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA.

Work in conjunction with the Regional Administrator regarding regular staff meetings to discuss progress and new developments and document these developments and ensure effective communication among all staff, sites, and the public.

Responsible for the oversight of patient scheduling, clinic complaints, staff issues, financial reporting, various clinic inspections, the overall health and safety of clinic operations, team huddles and facilitating monthly staff meetings.

Gather, analyze, and process information for accurate and responsible decision-making.

Orient and train new hires and conduct Introductory Period performance reviews.

Act as a liaison between the clinic staff, nurses, providers, and administration/finance.

Ensure confidentiality of personal data regarding individual patients and the families, and/or sensitive company financial data.

Provide instruction to subordinate employees and/or co-workers, for the purpose of information updates/sharing correction of errors, or implementation of procedures.

Oversee and monitors provider scheduling and patient flow, determining potential problems, and implementing resolution of problems to team appropriately.

Investigate complaints, interpret and explain rules and regulations and monitoring and spotting irregularities.

Provide input and work with the Regional Administrator regarding corrective actions, evaluating staff against the goals and objectives of individual staff members.

Comply with the budget for clinic operations, participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Ensure that the activities of registration, medical records, and others involved in the supporting operation get the support required for effectiveness to the day-to-day operations of clinic flow.

Ensure that the facility meets and maintains licensure requirements to include, but not limited to: health and safety, fire drills, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance.

Participate in organizational initiatives.

Participate in continuing education or seminars related to job responsibilities including brown bag trainings, etc.

Ensure compliance with employees and public health and safety rules.

Consistently report to work on time, prepared to execute the duties required of the position.

Greet patients, visitors, public and ECFH staff.

Work Front Office at designated sites as needed and must be willing to travel to outlying clinics.

Provide telephone and clerical support by answering phones, communicating correct information/messages, and routing them to appropriate personnel.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma
-
One year of management and customer service experience in related field is required.
-
Experience with Electronic Health Records Systems (EHR).

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
AA Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent academic study.
-
At least one year's experience in medical records working in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Bi-lingual-English/Spanish.

Experience with medical terminology and health insurance claims, Medicaid, and Medicare.
- Three (3) years' experience in managing a health care office or related facility, two (2) years must have been in a supervisory capacity in health care or other related industry.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to balance, bend, lift, carry, and pull up to 20 lbs.

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, typically longer than four hours.

Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, or as needed.

Manual dexterity and ability to use hands and fingers for feeling, grasping, and operating office equipment.

Adequate hearing ability for communication and monitoring office environments.

Good vision for reading documents, operating office equipment, and observing surroundings.

Capability to stoop, crouch, crawl, or kneel as necessary for office tasks.

Ability to talk clearly and effectively for communication.

Ability to walk and move around the office environment.
