Full Job Description

Step into a fulfilling full-time opportunity supporting students as part of a dedicated school therapy team. This role welcomes candidates with either an Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license, making it ideal for experienced professionals and passionate newcomers alike. Multiple openings are available, and caseloads may vary, offering diverse and engaging work with students of differing ages and abilities.

Qualifications:

Must hold a current Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.
Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other members of the student support team.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus, but not required.
Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
Assess and document students’ needs, abilities, and progress.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's unique strengths and challenges.
Consult with teachers and staff to support student access to the curriculum.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
Manage a caseload that may include a variety of ages and developmental stages.
