Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Truth Or Consequences, NM, is seeking a licensed Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver critical care support and medication management in a close-knit, small hospital environment with approximately 80 beds.

Responsibilities:

Accurately review and verify medication orders for safety and effectiveness
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
Provide drug information and clinical recommendations to medical staff
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital policies
Maintain accurate medication records and support inventory management
Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications:

Active New Mexico Pharmacist license is required
Experience as a Clinical Pharmacist or hospital pharmacist preferred
Strong knowledge of drug therapies, interactions, and best practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and adapt to changing priorities
