**Hourly Pay based on Experience Starting at $14 an hour + Daily Bonuses!**

Established in 1998, RiverWatch Grill is a waterfront family-owned Bar & Grill specializing in gourmet & imaginative one-of-a-kind burgers. In addition, our menu features a variety of American food, as well as beer, wine, and the only full-service bar in Chimney Rock Village! We are located in the heart of downtown on Main Street nestled against the Rocky Broad River. Our indoor and outdoor dining allows our guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding them! On top of that, we've got live music EVERY Friday night. Job Summary:

The Grill and Fry Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality grilled and fried food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of food to customers. The ideal candidate is experienced in grilling and frying techniques, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to upholding the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare grilled and fried food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented attractively.
Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of food to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized grill and fryer station, including cleaning grills, fryers, and other equipment and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
Monitor food inventory levels and alert the manager when supplies need to be reordered.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including handling food and equipment safely and correctly.
Assist in opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the grill and fryer stations, cleaning and organizing the station at the end of the night, and ensuring that all food is properly stored and labeled.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a grill and fry cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
Familiarity with grilling and frying techniques and methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
