Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded candidate to join our team. As a
Kitchen Lead, you will be the key point of contact to help ensure the
highest levels of guest satisfaction. Your role will be crucial to the guest experience
while they are on site. With your passion for food, hospitality and the ability to maintain
a positive work environment, you will make sure every person who walks through our
doors and orders off of our menu leaves with an experience that will make a lasting
impression.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting:

· Will report to the General Manager

On Site Expectations:

· Full time (40 hours)· You will be expected to work 5 shifts a week.· Punctual, professional and reliable at all times.

Group Visits:

· You will be the on site point person for all scheduled group visits who require afood menu option.

· You will work alongside the General Manager to manage andensure a smooth execution of food service for large parties who opt into our food menu.

· You will act as a “Hands on” lead trainer for all new hires and are expected to assist in their training process.

· You will work alongside the General Manager twice a year to curate a new menu that is up to par with the latest food trends as they pertain to the Hopscotch brand.

· Work closely with the General Manager to discuss department needs that couldenhance efficiency.

· You will lead the kitchen team with a collaborative, patient and fun attitude toensure an efficient and high-spirited work environment.

Back of House Duties:

· Maintain a neat and orderly work environment at all times.

· You will be expected to be in charge of all ordering for kitchen supplies andinventory.

· You will be responsible for our ongoing inventory system to help keep costs down and maintain a balanced inventory.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a related role, ideally in hospitality or immersive experiences is
highly desirable.
Possess a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, good humans and the Portland community.
Ability to execute items with precision and consistency.
Knowledge of menu development, food/labor costs, ordering and scheduling based on business needs, environment, guest experience, simultaneously, receptive to receiving direction, guests and staff.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced
Knowledge of best practices in hospitality planning and implementation.
Awareness of the brand and how our food can contribute to the overall
Excellent people skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple things
Self-motivated and adaptable to changing needs and taking on new tasks, and
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with
Flexibility in working hours, as some evening or weekend work may be required.
A positive can-do attitude is required.
