About Lorvae

Lorvae is a fast-growing lifestyle and eyewear brand focused on creating premium products and meaningful customer experiences. We're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who understands what it takes to build a brand, not just manage an Instagram account.

If you're someone who lives and breathes social media, understands consumer psychology, knows how to create content that converts, and has a portfolio that proves it, we'd love to meet you.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings ideas to the table, and takes ownership over results.

Position Summary

The Social Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Lorvae's social media ecosystem across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Strategist, this person will execute our social strategy while helping shape it through trend forecasting, creative thinking, community building, and performance analysis.

This is not an entry-level coordinator role.

We're looking for someone with a demonstrated history of growing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and understanding what drives both engagement and sales. You should be able to point to accounts you've managed and explain the strategy behind the results.

If your experience consists primarily of scheduling posts, this position likely isn't the right fit.

What You'll Do: Content Planning, Scheduling & Publishing

Manage the day-to-day social media calendar across all platforms
Schedule and publish content daily
Optimize captions, hashtags, keywords, and posting strategies for each platform
Ensure content is published accurately and on time
Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and marketing to ensure content is production-ready

Community Management

Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions within 24 hours
Foster meaningful conversations that strengthen customer relationships
Engage with customers, creators, influencers, and brand advocates
Escalate customer service or reputation concerns when appropriate

Trend & Platform Strategy

Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
Pitch fresh content ideas backed by current platform behavior
Monitor competitors and identify opportunities for Lorvae
Recommend new content formats and social initiatives

Content Creation

Write compelling captions, hooks, and calls-to-action
Create native platform content including Stories, Reels, TikToks, and other short-form content
Be comfortable appearing on camera to create UGC-style content when appropriate
Design social graphics that align with Lorvae's brand standards
Build and maintain an organized content library for ongoing publishing

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor weekly platform performance
Track engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, saves, shares, clicks, and conversions
Prepare weekly reporting with actionable insights
Identify winning content and recommend improvements based on performance

Campaign Execution

Execute the social media components of launches, campaigns, and promotional moments
Coordinate posting schedules during launches and live events
Support influencer campaigns and gifting initiatives
Track campaign deliverables and posting timelines

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional social media management experience
Proven experience growing brand social media accounts
Strong portfolio showcasing accounts you've managed and measurable results
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
Experience creating short-form video content
Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with consumer brands, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle companies
Experience supporting product launches
Graphic design experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Photography or video editing experience
Experience working alongside creators or influencers
Understanding of paid social best practices

Campaigns execute seamlessly with minimal oversight
