Job Title: Front Office Medical Assistant

Position Summary:
TrustedCare Medical Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Medical Assistant to support our behavioral health clinic. The ideal candidate is experienced in front office operations, prior authorizations, and patient relations, with a strong understanding of insurance processes and state compliance requirements. Familiarity with Spravato coordination and behavioral health workflows is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing professional and compassionate customer service
Manage patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and appointment coordination
Handle prior authorizations for medications and treatments, including Spravato
Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain necessary referrals
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies to ensure continuity of care
Support Spravato treatment workflow, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance tracking
Ensure clinic operations comply with state regulations and behavioral health standards
Manage incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries efficiently
Assist with general administrative duties and other clinic support tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical front office or behavioral health setting
Strong knowledge of insurance verification, billing processes, and prior authorizations
Experience with Spravato coordination strongly preferred
Familiarity with state compliance requirements in a healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Proficiency with EHR systems and standard office software
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience in behavioral or mental health clinics
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
