Full Job Description

Elite Medical Experts is a physician-led consulting firm that aligns top-tier medical experts and provides strategic medical insight for complex litigation and high-exposure matters. With more than 18,000 engagements nationwide, Elite supports plaintiff and defense firms, insurers, and enterprise clients in navigating medically complex cases with clarity, precision, and credibility.

We are seeking a Director of Client Development to build and lead a structured, relationship-driven approach to client engagement and revenue growth.

This is not a traditional sales role. There is no cold calling, no product selling, and no high-pressure sales process. The focus is on expanding relationships with existing clients, re-engaging prior clients, and building a repeatable system for thoughtful, strategic outreach.

This role is central to Elite’s next phase of growth.

Role Overview

The Director of Client Development will be responsible for designing and executing a structured client development function across Elite’s existing and prior client base. This includes identifying opportunities to increase engagement, developing targeted outreach strategies, and creating a consistent cadence of communication with key firms and organizations.

This individual will work closely with Elite’s physician-led Case Strategy team to ensure that outreach is aligned with real case opportunities and client needs. The role requires a high level of judgment, professionalism, and the ability to engage credibly with attorneys and other sophisticated clients.

In addition, this role will take ownership of Salesforce as a client development tool, ensuring that client activity, outreach, and opportunities are organized, tracked, and actionable.

This is a build role. The right candidate will not be stepping into an existing system, but will help design and implement the structure that drives ongoing client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a structured client development program focused on existing and prior clients
Identify opportunities to expand relationships and increase engagement with high-value accounts
Design and execute targeted outreach to re-engage dormant clients and strengthen active relationships
Establish a consistent and purposeful communication cadence with key clients, tailored to their practice areas and case mix
Collaborate with Elite’s Case Strategy team to align outreach with case-specific opportunities and client needs
Segment clients based on activity, value, and growth potential, and prioritize outreach accordingly
Manage Salesforce as a client development platform, including tracking engagement, refining workflows, and improving data quality
Provide regular insight to leadership regarding client engagement trends, opportunities, and areas for growth
Continuously refine messaging and approach based on client response and evolving needs

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in client development, strategic accounts, or business development within a professional services environment. This may include legal services, consulting, healthcare advisory, or similar fields.

They will have a demonstrated ability to build and expand relationships with sophisticated clients, and to engage in a consultative manner rather than a transactional one.

Strong Salesforce experience is required, not simply as a user, but as someone who understands how to structure, track, and optimize client engagement workflows.

This individual must be highly organized, capable of managing multiple relationships simultaneously, and comfortable operating in an environment where they are building structure from the ground up.

They must also be able to learn Elite’s business quickly and contribute meaningfully without requiring extensive direction. This is a role for someone who can educate and guide the organization, not simply execute predefined tasks.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with law firms or within the litigation support ecosystem

Familiarity with medical or healthcare-related subject matter

Experience building or refining client development systems within a growing organization
