UITS invites applicants for the Senior Coordinator, IT Business Operations (Administrative Operations Professional III) position. This role provides advanced business operational coordination for the UITS division and is responsible for coordinating software licensing and contract renewals, managing vendor relationships and invoice processing, serving as a liaison with Finance and Procurement, and administering the department’s purchasing workflow and approval system. This Senior Coordinator, IT Business Operations is also responsible for ensuring compliance with institutional policies, maintaining accurate tracking of IT assets, and supporting the timely execution of IT business processes.
This position is based at the Tucson campus and may be eligible for a remote work arrangement, subject to supervisor approval and department needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for campuswide software license administration for select, enterprise-level software solutions. This includes maintaining an up-to-date inventory of software licenses and associated documentation.
Monitor and track the division’s software license renewals, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts.
Coordinate with service owners and procurement teams to process renewals and amendments in a compliant and expedient manner.
Administer and provide ad-hoc business analyst work to manage and maintain the department’s workflow management and approval systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) leveraged by the Business Operations team (e.g., EREQ).
Develop and optimize workflows to improve process efficiency.
Provide user support, documentation, and training as needed.
Develop and maintain the division’s DCC program, including managing the RFP process to identify eligible vendors and serving as a liaison between DCC sponsors and vendors to support smooth and timely onboarding, offboarding, and rollovers.
Responsible for facilitating purchase requisitions and invoices for IT temporary agency contractors.
Contribute to financial reporting.
Develop dashboards, reports, and documentation for IT leadership.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within UITS business operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate at a professional level to a wide variety of audiences, including senior leadership, internal staff, central financial services employees, and vendors.
Ability to critically evaluate the needs of a new project to identify process needs to optimize efficiency.
Ability to create training materials for employees, customers, and vendors.
Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information, including NDA contract information.
Deep knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and how they apply to business activities.
Knowledge of university financial policies.
Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies and evaluate them for use in process creation.
Ability to develop, implement, grow, and maintain large-scale programs with a high degree of autonomy.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
