Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. Ag experience is a plus and pay is dependent on skill level and experience.

Duties

Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing using various financial software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and our self-developed program.
Prepare and record journal entries with precision, ensuring adherence to governmental accounting standards.
Reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts regularly to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
Handle confidential information with integrity while managing sensitive financial data securely.
Oversee payroll.
Communicate with farms, customers, and outside teams to accomplish shared goals.

Experience Desired

Proven experience with a foundation in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and basic payroll.
Experience working with QuickBooks
Familiarity with DOT and IFTA standards is a plus.
Prior exposure to agricultural accounting is highly desired.
Knowledge of accounting concepts related to journal entries, debits & credits, and financial concepts is essential.
Strong numeracy skills combined with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills for internal stakeholders along with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
