About TLL Solutions
We are a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Wisconsin that installs lighting, electrical, HVAC, and generator systems across the country. Projects range from simple LED retrofits to full electrical gear and generator replacements. We provide the support and project variety that help skilled electricians grow.
What You’ll Do
- Travel nationwide to commercial job sites (hotels and per diem provided; transportation to/from home airport and job site arranged).
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems (120/208 & 480/277 VAC).
- Bend, cut, and install conduit (½"–4" EMT and PVC).
- Size conductors and conduits per NEC.
- Operate aerial equipment (boom lift, scissor lift, telehandler, forklift) when required.
- Work safely at heights up to 80 ft and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with the project team and occasionally work independently.
- Produce simple parts lists, work plans, and as-builts when needed.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program or have completed an electrical trade school program.
- 2 or more years of experience as an apprentice (commercial experience strongly preferred).
- Solid knowledge of hand tools, multimeters, and testing equipment.
- Able to size conductors/conduits using the NEC Code Book.
- Experience with 120/208 and 480/277 VAC systems.
- Strong safety mindset and ability to identify electrical hazards.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to travel 100% (periodic, scheduled return trips home).
- Willing to share hotel rooms when needed.
- Own the standard hand tools listed below (or equivalent).
- Able to pass a background check.
Preferred
- Ability to read electrical prints and schematics.
- Experience producing parts lists and as-built drawings.
- Certifications or training on aerial lifts and forklifts.
Tools You’ll Need to Bring
Wire strippers, lineman pliers, side cutters, adjustable pliers, needle-nose pliers, utility knife, crescent wrench, tape measure, crimping tool, level, nut drivers (or multi-tool), Phillips & flat screwdrivers, hacksaw, battery drill/impact + bits, tool pouch/bag, and electrical voltmeter.
