Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in delivering high-quality parts efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manufacture parts in an exciting industry and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Set up and operate CNC machines such as HAAS mills and or Fanuc operated lathes to produce complex parts with tight tolerances.
Develop and modify CNC programs.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.
Perform routine machine maintenance, tooling changes, and adjustments to maintain optimal performance and quality standards.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, as needed for assembly or auxiliary tasks.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety protocols within the machining environment.
Maintain detailed records of production runs, inspection reports, and machine logs for quality assurance purposes.

Experience

Proven experience operating CNC machines with HAAS and or Fanuc controls
Blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings to interpret complex specifications accurately.
Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling selection, setup procedures, and basic math skills for measurement calculations.
Experience working with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
Knowledge of Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems is highly desirable.
