Full Job Description

Job Summary
The Terminal Manager (TUL) oversees daily warehouse and terminal operations to ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused performance. This role is responsible for managing workflow, staffing, inventory, shipping, and space utilization while meeting company standards for productivity, quality, and service. The Terminal Manager works closely with Warehouse Leads to monitor performance, improve efficiency, reduce overtime, and ensure delivery policies are followed. This position also enforces safety standards and legal compliance to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, and shipping methods.
Prepare daily workflow, staffing requirements, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures that are within legal regulations.
Daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
Managing the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency to minimize overtime.
Meeting regularly with Warehouse Leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans.
Properly follow our delivery policies.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management, supply chain management, or logistics leadership roles with a focus on transportation planning and freight operations.
Hands-on experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock ramps; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Excellent analyzing skills for root cause in process improvement initiatives, demand planning, inventory control, and pricing strategies.
Effective communication skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships and lead cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
