Full Job Description

Position Overview:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to completion. This position ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations.

Job Specifications:

Supervise and coordinate all field activities and subcontractors on construction sites.
Maintain project schedule and report progress to the project manager.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols on-site.
Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Conduct site inspections to ensure work is being performed in accordance with design and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation of job site activities.
Manage site logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and materials.
Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during construction.
Enforce site cleanliness and orderliness.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
10+ years of construction project management experience.
Proven experience overseeing large-scale construction projects with budgets exceeding $10 million
Strong background in multifamily and residential home construction.
Previous senior leadership experience within the construction industry.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, operations management, and business growth.
Strong financial management skills with experience overseeing project profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development abilities.
Knowledge of process improvement practices and operational efficiency strategies.
Results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality projects.

Position Requirements:

Ability to travel regularly to project sites
Comfortable working in both office and active construction site environments.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation; mileage reimbursement is provided.
