Full Job Description

Burn Table / Laser Operator

Pay: $18/hr+ DOE + $1 Night Shift Differential

Schedule:
Night Shift Available

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Burn Table / Laser Operator to join our team. This role involves operating Fiber and CO2 lasers, including Trumpf and Mitsubishi machines, while ensuring precision, quality, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Operate Siemens, Fanuc, and Windows-based laser control systems
Run Fiber and CO2 laser machines
Palletize and tag completed jobs
Clean and finish parts to customer specifications
Perform first article inspections on all parts
Read and interpret customer and shop blueprints
Measure accurately using tape measures and calipers
Identify material grades, thicknesses, and types
Operate overhead cranes and 5,000–15,000 lb forklifts
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow 5S standards
Assist with additional shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of laser operating experience preferred
Experience with Trumpf, NTC, Mitsubishi, Tanaka, Bystronic, Cincinnati, or similar equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
Reliable and safety-focused

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 70 lbs
Stand for 8+ hours daily
Frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout shift
