Full Job Description

Union Pines Surgery Center seeks a Full Time Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to work at our outpatient orthopedic ambulatory surgery center.

Position Overview:

The Perioperative RN will work in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center, caring for primarily orthopedic-focused surgical patients, some plastics, and pain management patients.

Responsibilities:

The Perioperative RN will work in the Admit and Pain Management. They will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation process. The RN is also responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care of patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday- Shift times may vary
No Call- late stay staff are required
No Weekend and No Holidays

Requirements to Apply:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in Oklahoma
BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification required
Must have 1-2 years experience working in surgery admit or pain management clinic. **Preferred, but not required, 1-2 years experience as a PACU RN in a hospital, ASC setting or critical care environment.**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
