Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part-Time Events Center Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events at our facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead event operations, ensure seamless guest experiences, and collaborate with guests to bring their visions to life. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality and event management.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup, catering, equipment rental, and vendor management
Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction
Oversee event marketing efforts to promote the venue for various functions such as corporate meetings, social gatherings, and community events
Utilize event management software and CRM systems to schedule bookings, maintain client records, and facilitate communication
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on event logistics, and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
Handle contracts with vendors and clients efficiently while managing multiple events simultaneously with excellent time management skills

Skills

Proven experience in event planning, management, or hospitality industry roles such as restaurant or hotel experience
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems
Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and team members
Ability to manage budgets meticulously while balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams or coordinating staff during events
Knowledge of catering operations, banquet setups, and hospitality standards is highly desirable
Exceptional organizational skills paired with effective time management strategies
Background in fundraising or guest services is a plus for enhancing community engagement efforts
