Full Job Description

Job Overview

Wey Valve is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support daily front office operations and assist with basic accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction and financial administrative work.

This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also supporting the accounting team with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative / Front Desk

Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
Greet visitors and manage front desk operations
Handle filing, document organization, and general office support
Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks for the team

Accounting Support

Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing and collections follow-ups
Support Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including data entry and vendor coordination
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Assist with basic reporting and reconciliation tasks
Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and team as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in an administrative, office, or accounting support role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (not required):

Experience with AR/AP processes
Exposure to accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.)
