CNC Programmer/Machinist
Milano Technical Group Inc.
Merced, CA
Full-Time | In Person
Milano Technical Group develops custom engineering solutions and advanced prototype-to-production systems for industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, ag-tech, factory equipment, material handling, and processing applications. Our team works across mechanical design, robotics, fabrication, controls, embedded systems, and manufacturing to rapidly develop practical hardware solutions for real-world environments. We are a fast-moving, hands-on engineering organization focused on turning ideas into functional products and deployable systems.
Job Summary
Milano Technical Group is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team where you will work on specific projects critical to MTG’s customers and next-generation industry products, and outside customers. Working closely with engineers, fabricators, and project teams, you will have the ability to machine and create prototype parts, custom fixtures, low-volume, medium-volume, production components, and unique parts/systems for one-of-a-kind projects requiring creativity in setups, precision, and practical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be self-managed, and individually responsible for programming, setup, and operating CNCs to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, CAM programming, fixturing, shop setup, and the use of precision measuring instruments. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and hands-on ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing and product development environment. If you are someone who is dynamic, detail-oriented, self-starting, team-focused, comfortable taking on new challenges, and can take ownership without constant oversight as we drive technology and industry forward, read on. We look forward to speaking with you.
