Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Personal Training Director to lead and elevate our fitness team to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of personalized training programs that inspire, motivate, and transform our members’ lives. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and enthusiasm within our health club environment. By leveraging your expertise in physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design, you will ensure our personal training services deliver exceptional results and outstanding customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader eager to make a lasting impact in a vibrant fitness community.

Duties

Lead, mentor, and motivate the personal training team to achieve performance goals and deliver top-tier service
Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to individual client needs, utilizing knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and specialized coaching programs
Drive sales initiatives by promoting personal training packages and membership upgrades through effective health club sales techniques
Ensure all trainers maintain current certifications in personal training, sports coaching, and related fields while adhering to safety standards
Collaborate with other departments to create engaging fitness experiences that enhance member retention and satisfaction
Monitor program outcomes and adjust strategies to optimize client progress and overall service quality

Qualifications

Proven experience in personal training within a health club or gym setting
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing safe and effective programs
Demonstrated ability to lead teams with energetic enthusiasm while fostering a positive work environment
Excellent sales skills with the ability to communicate the benefits of personal training effectively
Background in teaching physical education or fitness-related courses is highly desirable
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Certifications in personal training (such as NASM, ACE), sports coaching or related fields are required; additional qualifications in health sciences are a plus
