Martin & Associates Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated, coachable, and ambitious Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team in Irvine, California. No insurance experience or insurance license is required to apply. In fact, we often prefer candidates who are new to the industry because we provide comprehensive training and enjoy developing professionals from the ground up. This role is about much more than selling insurance - it's about building meaningful relationships, educating clients, and helping individuals and families make confident decisions about their healthcare and financial future. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and the tools needed to become a trusted advisor. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the drive to build a long-term career. Whether you're a recent college graduate or looking to start a new professional path, we'll teach you the insurance business - we can't teach work ethic, integrity, and a desire to help others. We provide qualified leads, industry-leading training, licensing support, reimbursement for licensing costs upon successful completion, company-paid Errors & Omissions insurance, ongoing coaching, a competitive base salary, uncapped commission opportunities, and performance-based bonuses. Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

No insurance license required to apply. In fact, we prefer candidates with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn over those with prior industry experience. We provide training, support, and resources to help qualified candidates obtain their California Life & Health Insurance License. Upon successful licensure, we reimburse licensing costs, cover Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance, and pay ongoing license renewal and maintenance expenses.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other business software applications.
Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required.
Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday in our Irvine office.

Responsibilities

Consult with Prospective Clients – Conduct phone and virtual consultations to assess client needs, educate individuals on Medicare and related insurance options, and recommend appropriate solutions including Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, and ancillary products.
Present and Close Insurance Solutions – Prepare and present personalized insurance recommendations, explain coverage options clearly, answer questions, and guide clients through the enrollment process while maintaining a high level of professionalism and trust.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships – Provide exceptional service to both new and existing clients through ongoing communication, policy reviews, renewals, account updates, and identification of additional coverage opportunities when appropriate.
Manage CRM and Sales Pipeline Activities – Accurately document client interactions, policy information, and sales activities within the CRM system to ensure proper follow-up, reporting, and client service.
Achieve Sales and Performance Goals – Meet or exceed individual sales targets and key performance metrics while contributing to overall agency growth through effective lead management, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain Compliance and Industry Knowledge – Stay current on Medicare regulations, carrier products, industry trends, and licensing requirements while ensuring all sales and service activities comply with applicable federal and state guidelines.
