Full Job Description

Athletics Administrative Assistant

Why this role matters

This role plays an important part in creating exceptional experiences for student-athletes, families, coaches, and visitors while helping ensure athletic events and daily operations run smoothly.

Schedule: Monday–Friday with evening and occasional weekend hours during athletic seasons (80% FTE)
Reports to: Athletic Director, working closely with Director of Enrollment and President
Pay: $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Health, dental, vision and life insurance; paid time off and retirement plan
Location: Roncalli High School, Manitowoc, WI

What you’ll do

Coordinate athletic schedules, rosters, eligibility records, and event logistics.
Support student-athletes, coaches, families, officials, and visiting schools.
Assist with game-day operations, tournaments, admissions, concessions, volunteers, and special events.
Coordinate transportation arrangements for athletic events, field trips, and school activities.
Maintain accurate athletic and transportation records and documentation.
Communicate scheduling updates and important information to students, families, and staff.
Support athletic registrations, awards programs, scholarships, and special projects.
Provide administrative support to school leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, reports, and meetings.
Assist with reception and general office operations as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned in support of school and athletic programs.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and administrative software systems.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with students, families, coaches, and colleagues.
Experience in athletics, education, transportation, or administrative support preferred.
Associate degree preferred.
