Full Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in a rewarding school-based Occupational Therapy role. This assignment runs from August 11, 2026, to May 23, 2027, with a consistent 20 hours per week and the added benefit of flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle. Located in a welcoming community near Tyler, TX, you’ll have the chance to make a tangible difference throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Proven experience in schools, home health, or healthcare settings
Passion for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical and documentation skills
Ability to adapt and individualize interventions based on student needs
Familiarity with IEP process and relevant school-based OT documentation preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as required by their IEPs
Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support students' participation and progress
Maintain clear and timely communication with caregivers and school professionals
Document progress and complete evaluations in compliance with educational standards
Participate in relevant meetings and training sessions to support student outcomes
