Full Job Description

We are hiring for one 3pm-11pm CNA

We are also hiring for one 11pm-7am CNA

Job Summary :

Provide personal care to patients in the Inpatient Facility in order to increase level of comfort and maintain personal hygiene. Perform basic duties as assigned to ensure a safe and clean environment for the Inpatient Facility. Support the functions of professional disciplines in providing end of life care.

Job Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED
Current CNA Certification from the State of Texas
Current CPR Certification as required by policy
Clear record of conduct that would not bar employment for criminal history, nurse aide registry, and employee misconduct registry
Minimum of one year full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (Hospital or Nursing Facility)
Valid Drivers License or State Identification
Demonstrate ability to relate effectively with physicians, health care professionals, the community, patients/families, and members of the hospice interdisciplinary team

Physical Requirements:

Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, twist, and crouch.
Frequently required to walk and sit.
Regularly required to use hands to handle and feel; and to speak and hear.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to deal effectively with stress
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to focus.

Working Conditions:

Inpatient care facility, general office settings
Exposure Risk Category as defined by policy
