Full Job Description

Pine Creek Ranch in Tyler, TX is seeking a team member to perform grounds cleanup and lawn care, as well as assist in cleaning building and trash out of homes for our single family home community.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Porter is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the community grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and grounds of the housing community.

Essential Job Functions:

· Upholds all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

· Removes trash within the community's public areas and perimeter daily.

· Performs lawn maintenance that includes mowing and weed-eating.

· Responsible for proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment, and keeping the shop clean and organized.

· Assist in the preparation of vacant homes to rent, including removing trash from homes (trash outs) before make-ready and light maintenance activities

· Assist in cleaning of available homes for market.

· Responsible for snow and ice removal.

· Immediately report all unsafe conditions.

· Interacts with residents and employees professionally and responds to requests in a courteous and timely manner.

· Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Competencies

1. Effective interpersonal & communication skills.

2. Dependable, uses time efficiently and responsibly.

3. Ability to use and operate basic lawn tools and equipment.

4. Computer literacy to operate software systems and perform routine tasks and training online.

Qualifications

Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in residential housing community environment
Authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
