About Us

We are a health and wellness platform for dogs, launching with a first-of-its-kind functional chew made from bone broth. As we scale, production is at the core of our ability to deliver a high-quality, consistent product at speed.

We’ve built the brand from the ground up for modern distribution, which means operations must be agile, responsive, and built for growth.

We’re a small, high-performance team with deep experience in DTC and consumables, and we’re looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of our production ecosystem, driving efficiency, ensuring quality, and building the systems that will support scale from early-stage to breakout growth. This role will report directly to the Head of Operations and work closely with leadership to shape how we scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the production process to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output. Core duties include:

Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while minimizing costs, coordinating with procurement and logistics for timely material availability.
Resource Management: Allocate human, material, and financial resources efficiently, manage inventory levels, and optimize workforce performance to prevent understocking or overstocking.
Quality Control and Assurance: Maintain product quality standards, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to address defects.
Process Improvement: Analyze production methods, identify inefficiencies, and adopt new techniques or technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Team Leadership: Supervise production teams, conduct meetings, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations. This is a 3 shift operation and all shifts deserve attention & support. Willingness to flex hours to support the team while self-managing work/life balance is expected.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure operations comply with government, environmental, and industry regulations, and maintain safety programs.
Reporting and Performance Evaluation: Monitor production metrics, evaluate performance against targets, and report to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, we’ll look for these or equivalent technical knowledge, leadership, and business acumen:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields; equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: 5 or more years of production management experience.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, inventory management, and production software tools.
Leadership and Communication: Ability to manage teams, coordinate across departments, and communicate effectively with staff and senior management.
Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Capable of addressing workflow issues, adapting to supply chain disruptions, and implementing process improvements.
Analytical Skills: Competence in performance analysis, budgeting, and resource optimization.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on role in a production environment. You’ll be on your feet, moving around, and occasionally lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. If you’re someone who likes being active and in the mix, this could be a good fit. Reasonable accommodations can be made where needed.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
