Full Job Description

DIT-MCO International, a trusted name in wire harness testing and aerospace innovation for over 75 years, is seeking a driven Regional Account Manager to join our Sales team. This role offers the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with key customers across your region while also contributing to growth and expanding business opportunities. As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in developing account strategies, identifying new opportunities, and partnering with customers to deliver solutions that meet their evolving needs.

You’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively across teams, take ownership of your territory, and contribute to meaningful business growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field and 5 years' experience in capital equipment technical sales in the aerospace industry preferred.
Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing engineering contracts and export control.
Equivalent education/experience will be considered.
3 plus years successful business to business technical, electrical testing, or aerospace & military sales experience.
Proven track record in business development, protecting margins, building customer partnerships, and developing profitable revenue growth in a B2B setting.

U.S. Citizen

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and experience with all Microsoft Office products.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and projects effectively.
Ability to interact and build relationships with internal personnel at all levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
Handle senistive information discreetly and confidentially.
Strong Sales Presentations and Relationship Building skills
Customer Service, Communication skills, and consistent follow-up skills.
New Business Development skills and successful track record of achieving sales goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge and experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry is a plus.
Strong proposal generation and presentation skills.
Must be self-disciplined, results driven, and accustomed to consistent high performance.
Leadership character along with the desire, ability and skills to manage the entire sales cycle is essential.
Forecasting accuracy.
A Consultive and Subject Matter Expert Sales mentality with excellent and value add communication skills.
Collaborates with Management and Marketing to develop the sales tools required in the field.
New account development and pipeline growth combined with strong and consistent activity levels.
Resolve or assist in resolving customer complaints regarding products, sales and service.
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Direct, coordinate and participate in service, installation and training within the region.
Maintain CRM compliance and accurate sales forecast for monthly reporting to management.
Using a CRM to log customer interactions, manage sales pipeline, and weekly planning.
Develops alongside management sales strategies for major accounts and prospects.
Submits monthly territory coverage plan and status report to management.
Understand customer requirements and spec requirements.
Prompt follow-up and qualification of sales leads, interface with customers to determine future market needs and report findings to management.
Responsible for Regional Commercial business Forecasts and the associated Sales action plans.
Identifying all buyer influencers in every deal and building relationships with key program executive officers, contracting specialists and program managers, and end users.
Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and marketing techniques.
Identify customer needs and position DIT-MCO solutions using a consultative selling approach, in close collaboration with in-house Application Engineers and subject matter experts.
Contribute to business development tools and processes improvements.
Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by a manager.
Good and/or corrected vision.
Mobility and full dexterity.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, work multiple job functions, and deal with stressful situations.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Regional travel up to 60% (flying and driving) to domestic worksites required.
