About Us

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Estimator, you’ll lead estimating efforts for large and complex electrical infrastructure projects—strategically positioning bids, developing relationships with clients, and mentoring junior estimators. You’ll play a critical role in shaping project success from concept through award.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of bid preparation and cost estimating for complex transmission, substation, and distribution projects.
Develop and oversee detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and equipment.
Conduct bid strategy meetings and client presentations.
Negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and partners to achieve the best pricing and terms.
Review and approve RFPs, proposals, and scopes of work.
Collaborate with leadership on bid strategy, risk assessment, and project execution planning.
Mentor and train junior estimating staff, ensuring consistency and quality in all deliverables.
Stay informed on market conditions, technology changes, and industry best practices

What You’ll Bring

7+ years of estimating experience in electrical contracting or utility construction.
Proven leadership in preparing large-scale bids and managing estimating teams.
In-depth knowledge of electrical infrastructure systems, construction means and methods, and project cost analysis.
Advanced proficiency with estimating software (Accubid preferred) and Excel-based cost modeling.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of both the technical and financial aspects of complex electrical work. You bring confidence, accuracy, and leadership to every estimate—and you elevate the people and projects around you.
