Part-Time Behavior Technician / ABA Behavioral Technician / ABA Instructor

Whether your interest is in ABA, working with the special needs population, or simply helping others — we want you on our team!

Do you have the passion, work ethic, and dedication to make a difference, but limited exposure to the science of ABA? No problem! We provide comprehensive training for all our Behavior Technicians to ensure you are fully prepared to succeed in your role and grow in your career. Through our intensive onboarding process and ongoing support from our Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisors, you will be prepared to take the certification exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within your first 90 days! After obtaining your certification, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time, salaried Behavior Therapist position — offering consistent pay and excellent company benefits.

At Infinity, we are committed to helping you not only succeed today but grow into the clinician you aspire to be. We offer a strong mentorship program for those interested in becoming future Behavior Analysts or Assistant Behavior Analysts. Many of our Behavior Therapists started with little to no ABA experience and have since advanced through our mentorship program, becoming BCaBAs and BCBAs while working with us. We see your potential, and we are here to help you achieve your goals.

Our clinical team includes Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Clinical Social Workers (CSWs). You will never be left alone in the field without the tools and support you need. Every client has an individualized treatment plan and a strong clinical framework, ensuring that you can provide high-quality, effective services with confidence.

Job Duties:

Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group sessions, in the home and the community
Run skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis methodology and learning theories
Collect data and graph data as instructed using technological programs (e.g., Google Drive)
Work with your Clinical Supervisor to implement individualized treatment plans
Work with the Training and Service Coordinator to help client's parent goals/objectives
Attend weekly supervision meetings with Clinical Supervisor, bi-weekly check-in with Training & Service Coordinator, and monthly staff training
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise
Other related job duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or upper management and administration

Availability/Location

Location of Services: 11211 Waples Mill Rd., Fairfax, VA, 22030
Hours 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age, preferred Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, or any related field; Master’s degree welcome.
Beneficial 1 year experience with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs
Knowledge of (ALL training will be provided to eligible candidates): Appropriate behavioral intervention strategies and willingness to learn theories and instructional methods, ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Compensation and Benefits

Initial hourly pay: $20.00 to $25.00 commensurate with experience
