Full Job Description

National Services Group is a nationwide residential and commercial renovation contractor that is crossing $500M this year and is still rapidly growing. We operate through our three-award winning subsidiary brands, Empire Works, College Works, and Home Genius Exteriors. We have been growing, promoting and building tomorrow’s leaders for over 32 years and are looking for an Accounts Payable Representative.

How can you help be a part of this exciting opportunity:

Efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.
Review, record and process, expense and mileage reimbursements through Expensify and CRM Site.
Reconcile accounts for payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
Process and manage incoming invoices and ensure they are properly approved before payment.
Verify the accuracy of billing data and match invoices to purchase orders.
Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts.
Prepare and process check runs, wire transfers, and electronic payments.
Maintain vendor records, including W9, contact information, early payment discounts/rebates, and payment terms.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Ensure timely payments to vendors and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Identify areas for operational improvements and strengthen internal controls.
Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your immediate supervisor. Please note that job duties and responsibilities may be adjusted at any time to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
Experience with Dynamics BC 365 preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional and well-developed communication skills.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and change priorities efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, and team members
