Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with interior design experience to join our manufacturing team. Manufacturing design assistant is responsible for setting up data collection forms, accurately inputting and managing collected data within our systems, and ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible during the life of a project. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in basic Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently from various teams.

Duties

Create project specific data collection spreadsheets from the field team.
Input collected data from the field team into databases and production systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
Transcribing information from various sources into standard formats for production use.
Perform basic math calculations to verify data integrity and interpret collected data using basic spreadsheet formulas.
Organize files and maintain an orderly system for easy retrieval of information.
Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency with production expectations.

Requirements

Basic:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Basic arithmetic math skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks from multiple projects effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work to downstream stakeholders.

Preferred:

Experience with data entry and management systems, ERP/MRP.
Previous experience in manufacturing and/or FFE.
Advanced Excel knowledge like creating VBA macros.
Commercial Interior design experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
