Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations at our vibrant hotel. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving during the night shift, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining the integrity of financial and operational records. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest satisfaction and smooth hotel management during nighttime hours. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with friendly, professional service
Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and reservations using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms
Manage front desk operations efficiently, including multi-line phone systems, guest inquiries, and reservation modifications
Ensure adherence to hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to guarantee guest and staff safety throughout the night shift
Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to maintain accurate records for management review
Address guest concerns promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and positive relations
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve any issues impacting guest comfort or safety
Will have to fold towels as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment
Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and hospitality reservation systems
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior resort experience or familiarity with hospitality industry standards is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences during overnight hours
