Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Looking for an experienced MRI professional to play a pivotal role in a dynamic imaging department. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about diagnostic imaging and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accuracy, comfort, and safety during every imaging procedure.

Key Qualifications:

Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent credential required
Minimum of one year’s experience performing MRI scans in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and physics
Proficient with MRI equipment operation and imaging software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations
CPR or BLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform MRI examinations according to departmental procedures and physician instructions
Prepare and position patients, thoroughly explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols for each patient
Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results
Accurately document patient information and imaging findings in the system
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and exam rooms
Follow strict safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and staff from potential hazards
Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuum of care
