Assisted Living & Memory Care Administrator

An established and growing senior living organization is seeking an experienced Assisted Living & Memory Care Administrator to lead one of its premier senior living communities in West Central Florida.

This is an opportunity for a proven leader to make a meaningful impact by cultivating a culture of excellence, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional resident care while driving operational and financial success.

The Assisted Living & Memory Care Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the community, including regulatory compliance, resident and family satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, quality assurance, and occupancy growth.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an accomplished senior living executive with experience leading a larger-scale Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who combines operational excellence with a passion for resident care, employee development, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will possess:

A minimum of three (3) years of Administrator or Executive Director experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living community
Demonstrated experience managing the operations of a larger-scale senior living community with multiple department leaders and complex daily operations
Extensive knowledge of Florida AHCA regulations, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, labor management, occupancy, and operational performance
A proven ability to recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing leadership teams
Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience building strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, referral sources, and community partners
An unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional resident care and customer service

Required Qualifications

Florida Assisted Living Facility Administrator Core Training Certification
Minimum three (3) years of Administrator or Executive Director experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living community
Demonstrated success leading all aspects of a larger senior living community, including operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial performance, and quality assurance
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic resident management systems
Ability to successfully complete a Level 2 Background Screening

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, or a related field
LPN or RN licensure
Experience overseeing both Assisted Living and Memory Care services
Demonstrated success increasing occupancy through sales, marketing, and community outreach
Successful leadership during AHCA surveys with positive outcomes
Hospitality or luxury senior living experience
Proven ability to develop department leaders and build future leadership talent
Established professional relationships within the healthcare and senior services community

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Thorough understanding of Assisted Living and Memory Care operations
Strong knowledge of resident rights, quality assurance, risk management, and life safety requirements
Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and census management
Ability to build lasting relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, vendors, and community partners
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism and compassion
Commitment to creating an exceptional resident experience through strong leadership, accountability, and operational excellence

Pre-Employment Requirements

Florida Assisted Living Facility Administrator Core Training Certification (required)
Successful completion of an AHCA Level 2 Background Screening, including fingerprint-based state and national criminal history checks through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Must meet all eligibility requirements for employment in a Florida licensed Assisted Living Facility
Ability to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States
