Location: Miami, FL

Position Summary

The Bakery Quality Analyst supports quality assurance programs through hands-on laboratory testing, sample management, sensory evaluations, data analysis, and supplier communication. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with quality assurance experience who enjoys combining laboratory work with problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform routine quality assurance testing on bakery products, including physical measurements, weights, caliper measurements, and sensory evaluations.
Handle, receive, label, log, organize, and maintain product samples while ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
Generate accurate, high-quality data and interpret results to prepare clear, actionable reports.
Collect, analyze, and report quality data using LIMS, Microsoft Excel, and other internal systems.
Coordinate product sample requests and deliveries from restaurant locations according to testing schedules and program guidelines.
Support sensory panels and descriptive analysis activities in collaboration with suppliers.
Communicate testing results and quality findings to internal teams and suppliers, helping drive compliance with established quality standards.
Assist with single or multi-stage quality assurance projects as assigned.
Maintain laboratory organization while following all company quality, safety, and Code of Conduct requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, Nutrition Science, or a related scientific field.
Previous Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
Experience working in a laboratory, food manufacturing, or food quality environment.
Experience performing basic laboratory procedures and using equipment such as calipers, scales, and other measuring devices.
Comfortable handling food samples throughout the testing process.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate results to suppliers and internal stakeholders and confidently participate in meetings or presentations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Sensory Science or sensory evaluation programs.
Experience with bakery products or bakery manufacturing.
Previous Quality Management experience is a plus.
