Full Job Description

Small batch, scratch bakery in Powell, Ohio is looking for a part-time and full-time customer service/production associate to join our team. It takes effort, but it's also fun and rewarding. Are you ready to help us grow? (And have a 3 day weekend every weekend?! Keep reading to the end for details.)

Duties and Responsibilities

Work week is 4 days a week. Scheduled hours will depend on whether you are part-time or full-time. Includes Saturdays as that is our busiest day, but work is done by 2 pm that day.
Assist customers at front of house. Answer any questions, finalize purchases on our POS system (Square) and restock front display.
Manage product stock. Finish items based on product type, wrap, package and fulfill online orders. Decorating skills not required. (But if you have them, great!)
Collaborate with our team of bakers on production planning and daily workflow.
Assist with dishes, trash removal, general cleaning, restocking supplies and other related tasks as assigned.
Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and facilities with a focus on safety and health department requirements.
Opportunity for growth into a supervisory position.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent. Must be 18 or older.
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and customer service highly preferred.
Able to work early mornings, Saturdays, and extra hours during holiday seasons.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask and prioritize. Attention to detail is of utmost importance and cannot be overstated.
Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks. Genuinely likes working with people.
Physically able to move/stand during the length of shift; able to lift 10-20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to read and write in English. Must be able to do basic math.
Adherence to sanitation procedures, and state health and safety precautions and regulations.
Legally authorized to work in the US. Proof required at hiring.
