Job Title: General Manager at The Cage Cocktail Bar

Position: Full-Time

About Us:

The Cage Cocktail Bar is a high-energy, upscale bar known for its expertly crafted cocktails, exceptional service, and unforgettable nightlife experience. We’re not just a place to grab a drink – we’re a destination where patrons can escape into a world of flavor, atmosphere, and excitement. As we continue to elevate our brand, we’re looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations with passion, precision, and creativity.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
Lead, train, and develop the team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, creating a positive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.
Maintain financial responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience, managing any customer concerns or issues with professionalism.
Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Monitor health, safety, and liquor laws compliance, ensuring the team follows all regulations.
Collaborate with marketing to implement promotional strategies, events, and campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons, creating a welcoming, memorable experience for all guests.
Hire, onboard, and train new staff members to meet the standards of excellence at The Cage.
Maintain bar ambiance and cleanliness, overseeing the overall presentation and upkeep of the venue.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or in a senior management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or upscale casual environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
In-depth knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and financial analysis.
Ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a professional and calm manner.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and liquor laws.
Proven track record of driving sales, controlling costs, and managing budgets.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Passion for the hospitality industry and creating exceptional guest experiences.
